Unlike many product and industrial design firms that focus primarily on consumer electronics and home-lifestyle products, we specialize in the industrial design of electronic and mechanical equipment. Traditional machinery design is often driven almost entirely by function because of manufacturing constraints, with ergonomics and aesthetics receiving less attention. Mechanical engineers typically possess strong expertise in mechanisms and fabrication but may have limited training in aesthetics. Industrial designers, by contrast, may have strong aesthetic training but lack in-depth knowledge of machining and manufacturing methods. When these disciplines are not effectively integrated, the result often lacks a crucial element, leaving little meaningful difference between a client’s product and competing products.
